Message: Make sure to use HoteITully. ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you choose this place you will love it I'm sure! The Staff was so friendly, Candy at the front desk went above and beyond! Very knowledgeable about the area! Also, we found the room to be updated and very clean- no complaints. Location is fantastic! The French quarter is a fifteen minute walk away, restaurants all around and Starbucks one block away. The Cruise Portal for Norwegian was a short walk across the street and breakfast was decent and free, eggs- pancakes- sausage. Would definitely stay here again!

Message: Really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place in New Orleans. The room was very comfortable, the service was great, and so was the location. Have never stayed in a hotel that you need your room card reader to operate the elevator, but I guess that is for security purposes for the guests and staff. Thank you for all you do to keep everyone safe.

Message: Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms and lobby clean. Just smells old and dingy. Bring slippers as carpets are old. Soaps and lotions are ok, but not nice smelling. Breakfast good, but limited. Location is great. Felt safe.. If staying here, just need to weight against what is important to you.

Message: Staff were great.. This is a very bare bones hyatt place. It will do the job. No pool, limited workout space, could probably use new carpet and refill on the sanitation wipes. Close to the convention center.. Recommend the carrot and potato medley for breakfast.. Disappointed that they didn’t carry laundry detergent at the desk despite having laundry on property. Also arrival felt a little uncomfortable. The door locks sometime after sunset which I get but they also turn the lights down so low it looks like they are closed from outside. Rest assured, they are open and ready to greet you - just knock on the glass if they don’t see you.

Message: Jennifer at the front desk elevates this place big time with her warm, cheery, helpful manner. The room cleaning staff also do an excellent job every day. If you are attending a convention at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, you can’t get a more convenient place. It’s right across the street. The room I stayed in was okay except for the very cramped bathroom. Hard to move in there and the door swings into it making it tougher. Furniture in the room is a tad beat up - even some duct tape on the desk bottom - but clean and functional. Breakfast is okay each morning if you are good having virtually the same thing every day. Best part about the place is the staff, especially Jennifer. I’d stay there again just to have that positive attitude around in the morning.

Message: Exceptional professional staff from Candy managing early evening check-ins and Ashley during day. Everyone on staff I encountered was wonderful. Excellent room amenities, slept very well on comfy beds & pillows, in-room coffee maker works well, room very clean, Serina’s breakfast buffet surprised me with roasted potato medley (sweet, purple, white) and selection beyond typical hotel cold & stale breakfast. Noticed in lobby that Lovely attention from all staff was given to all guests. Delightful stay before an important appointment the next day. Especially after my long drive from Houston in the rain after Southwest Airline’s total incompetence in cancelling my flight and all flights mid-week to/from New Orleans. (SW Meltdown 12/22). Only suggestion for Hyatt — save money on energy — it’s too cold in common areas!
